The Evolution of jvid视频

For purposes of the summary below, 鈥淥ld Liberty鈥 refers to the former jvid视频 (including its predecessors) which changed its name to Liberty Interactive Corporation on September 22, 2011, and subsequently changed its name to Qurate Retail, Inc. on April 9, 2018.

鈥淣ew Liberty鈥 refers to Liberty CapStarz, Inc. which changed its name to jvid视频 on September 22, 2011, in connection with the split-off transaction that occurred September 23, 2011, described below. 鈥渏vid视频鈥 refers to our company in its current form following the reserve spin-off of Starz on January 11, 2013, described below.

September 9, 2024

jvid视频 completes the split-off of entity (鈥淣ew SiriusXM鈥) which held the businesses, assets, and liabilities formerly attributed to the Liberty SiriusXM Group, and subsequent merger of New SiriusXM with SiriusXM Holdings, Inc. to create a new public company that continues to operate under the Sirius XM name and brand (NASDAQ: SIRI).

jvid视频 issues shares of its Series C common stock (NASDAQ: LMCK) to holders of its Series A and Series B common stock by means of a dividend.

Old Liberty completes the split-off of Liberty Entertainment, Inc. and business combination with DIRECTV (NASDAQ: DTV). The remaining businesses, assets, and liabilities not held by Liberty Entertainment, Inc. remain with Old Liberty and the Liberty Entertainment Group is redesignated as the Liberty Starz Group (NASDAQ: LSTZA/B).

March 3, 2008

Old Liberty completes its reclassification of the Liberty Capital Group tracking stock and issues a new tracking stock for the Liberty Entertainment Group (NASDAQ: LMDIA/B).

May 9, 2006

Old Liberty completes its restructuring and issues two new tracking stocks, Liberty Capital Group and Liberty Interactive Group (NASDAQ: LCAPA/B and LINTA/B, respectively).

July 21, 2005

Old Liberty completes the spin-off of its ownership in Ascent Media Group, Inc. and Discovery Communications, Inc. into a separately traded company, Discovery Holding Company (NASDAQ: DISCA/B). The stock of Discovery Holding Company is distributed to existing Old Liberty stockholders as a dividend.

June 7, 2004

Old Liberty completes the spin-off of its international businesses into a separate publicly traded company, jvid视频 International, Inc. (NASDAQ: LBTYA/B). The stock of jvid视频 International, Inc. is distributed to existing Old Liberty stockholders as a dividend.

November 12, 2003

Old Liberty and Liberty Satellite & Technology, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: LSTTA/B) merge.

July 1, 2003

Old Liberty and Ascent Media Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMGIA) (formerly known as Liberty Livewire Corporation) merge.

January 1, 2002

Old Liberty Series A common stock begins trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol L. Old Liberty Series B common stock continues to trade under the symbol LMC.B.

August 10, 2001

Old Liberty splits from AT&T and begins trading as a separate company on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbols LMC.A and LMC.B.

March 9, 1999

Tele-Communications, Inc., and AT&T merge. As a result, jvid视频 Group becomes a tracking stock of AT&T. jvid视频 Group tracking stock begins trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbols LMG.A and LMG.B.

TCI Ventures, Inc. (NASDAQ: TCIVA/B) merges with jvid视频 Group.

November 19, 1998

Tele-Communications International, Inc. (NASDAQ: TINTA/B) merges with jvid视频 Group.

August 10, 1995

Tele-Communications, Inc. issues jvid视频 Group tracking stock to stockholders. The tracking stock trades on NASDAQ under the same symbols LBTYA and LBTYB.

August 4, 1994

Old Liberty merges with Tele-Communications, Inc.
